Lush Veganese Conditioner

Heyyy Girls!!!
Turning vegan is the new "IT" statement of this millennium. While we Indians are known across the world as being Lacto-Vegetarians, vegans are those who completely abstain from using any direct or by-product which has its origin in animals. Today's product though not a consumable vegan product is a suitable hair conditioner for those who follow the vegan ideologies in day to day life. Reviewing today, Lush Handmade Cosmetic's Veganese Conditioner.

Lush says:
"Lavender and lemon all-round conditioner for all hair types. Our vegan customers have quite enough to put up with without having rough, dull, tangled hair. The majority of Lush products are vegan, but making a vegan conditioner without lanolin (from sheared sheep's wool) took us a few years. Absolutely refusing to be beaten, Helen Ambrosen finally found a formula that reached her high standards, using agar seaweed gel as a hair softener with lavender and lemons for shine. It's an effective conditioner for you to use. Vegans and everyone with fine hair should choose this one and stick with it."

Price : INR 420/840/1340 respectively

Quantity : 100/250/500 gms. respectively

Available at : All Lush stores worldwide

Veganese Conditioner comes in a simple see through plastic bottle with a black flip top. As being eco-friendly is a company policy for Lush, this bottle can be recycled. The flip top is quiet secure once closed properly reducing chances of leakage while travelling. A paper label is taped across the bottle for the product's name, description and ingredients. Lush likes to do things differently and hence there is a sticker on the bottle giving the name of the Lush employee who handmade your product with the date of manufacturing and expiry as well. Veganese conditioner is kind of, off white in color, quiet runny in texture and smells of limes with hints of lavender.

Application :
After shampooing your hair. Squeeze out excess water and apply Veganese conditioner generously to your hair. Comb through with a wide toothed comb for even application. Leave on for 3-5 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
Hair post using Lush Veganese Conditioner

Pro's of Lush Veganese Conditioner :

  • Free of silicones, conditioner is suitable for those who avoid using chemical laden products
  • Smells fresh and invigorating
  • Conditioner is light in texture and applies evenly and easily to hair
  • De-tangles hair, leaving them shiny, soft and easy to manage
  • Suitable for fine hair types which lacks volume
Con's of  Lush Veganese Conditioner :
  • Kind of expensive but it is from Lush. Their products don't come cheap but are worth every penny you pay
  • Not suitable for dry, damaged hair, curly hair or frizzy hair
  • This con came as an after thought. The smell may not appeal to all.
To Splurge or Not to Splurge :
If you have fine hair which looks flat and lifeless after conditioning and hence you end up skipping on conditioner because you like to have what little volume you can manage in your hair, then this is your conditioner! Veganese conditioner is great for de-tangled, shiny, soft hair that smells nice and fresh, However, like I listed in the cons, the smell may not be a pro for all.

Final Verdict :
Veganese conditioner gets a 3.5/5 from me!
