Heyyy Girls!!!
After my super successful experience with the Vitamin C skin range from The Body Shop, I decided to make yet another purchase from the same range. Today's product is a cleanser and so far has given me amazing results so much so that I would love to make sure that each and everyone of you try it.
Reviewing today, The Body Shop Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish.
The Body Shop says :
"Best if you want to: Remove dull skin cells and reveal radiance with a gentle, exfoliating face wash that will leave your skin smooth and revitalized.
Quantity : 100 ml.
Available At : All The Body Shop outlets
The Body Shop Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish comes in a bright orange tube with the Vitamin C range branding. The tube has a flip top cap which closes securely and is safe for travel. The facial cleansing polish is a clear liquid with minute orange beads in it for the exfoliating action. The polish has a refreshing oranges like fragrance which I absolutely love about the Vitamin C range from TBS. Its the best thing to wake up to in the mornings and at any dull points through the day.
Application :
Wet you face. Take a tiny pea size drop of the Facial Cleansing Polish on you finger and dot over your face. Massage to create a lather all over face and neck. Rinse and pat dry. Follow up with a moisturiser.

- Best for: Dull skin
- How it works:
- Contains Amazonian camu camu berry, which is known to have one of the highest contents of vitamin C in nature. Antioxidant vitamin C brightens skin, encourages collagen production, improves elasticity and helps to protect skin from environmental pollutants.

Pro's of The Body Shop Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish :
- Amazing fragrance. I love love love it!! And you will too if your into citrus
- Very gently exfoliates your skin and suitable for sensitive skin as an exfoliator
- Leaves skin soft and gives it an instant radiance
- Cleans skin without stripping it of natural oils
Cons of The Body Shop Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish :
- Expensive for the quantity
- Leaves a thin film of smoothing product or something which may cause breakouts in acne prone skin
To Splurge or Not to Splurge :
The Body Shop Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish is just like its name a cleansing polish that gives you an immediate radiant effect, thanks to the generous dose of Vitamin C in it. This cleanser gently exfoliates with its micro beads but is still not harsh on your skin. I'm a little concerned about the slight film it leaves on my skin but no doubt I enjoy the smooth and radiant skin I get after using it. I will continue using and buying this Cleansing Polish as long as it pampers my skin like this.
Final Verdict :
The Body Shop Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish gets a 4.5/5 from me!
hey Himanshi...tbs vitamin C range had definitely got me intrigued...specially their serum but I found them way too costly for daily usage...may be for some special event, I might end up buying them.
ReplyDeleteHey Swati,
DeleteYou must definitely try this range from TBS. I have loved both these products I have reviewed here. Although the serum is a little pricey, I double it up as a primer for my make up too and hence the price works out well for me. In fact recently a friend has also recommended the sunscreen from the same line and I'm looking forward to trying it.
