The wedding and party season is here! I'm sure your social calendar is full of weddings and end of the year parties. Wearing make up to these parties is mandatory but what about removing it once you get back home? Make sure to never sleep with your make up on, even if you are dead tired from all the dancing and socialising. It will cause clogged pores and even make you break out. 

Today's product is my latest make up remover, L'Oreal Paris's Gentle Eye & Lip make up remover.

Gentle Eye & Lip make up remover comes in a plastic bottle which is transparent so you can see the blue liquid inside. The cap is a wide silver-white top which separates from the bottle for easy dispensing on your cotton pad/wipe. Once closed, the cap is securely in place making it easy to carry around. You can see that this make up remover has two layers of liquid, the oil on the top layer which will help in delicately yet effectively removing waterproof make up and the bottom layer, which is a light liquid to leave your skin feeling fresh and clean.

Application :
I use cleansing wipes to remove my make up, take a generous dab of Gentle Eye & Lip make up remover on the wipe. Place it on your eye are for a few seconds and hold to let the make up dissolve. Wipe off any any other traces of make up. Follow this with a face wash/cleansing lotion.

• It's not really a con but since the Gentle Lip & Eye make up remover has oils in it, combination/oily skin types, make sure to cleanse after using this to avoid pimples/acne.

To Splurge or Not to Splurge :

Certainly splurge. Before using this one I have always spent big bucks on high end make up removers because the cheaper brands were not effective in removing waterproof mascara and long wear lipsticks. This make up remover is so good that one swipe is enough to remove the darkest pigmented eye shadows and most resilient waterproof mascara. It's equally good at removing lip color which is settled in the delicate lines of your lips. All this while staying true to its name, Gentle!
