The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost Review

Festivities are just around the corner and I was looking for a quick fix product to help me erase some of the long nights and fad diets sprinkled over my face. After several recommendations, I decided to head to The Body Shop.

The Body Shop says :

"Create instant smoothing radiance with a silky smooth finish. It's an ideal skin pick-me-up to enhance your glow and our favorite Vitamin C product!  

Single drop of Vitamin C Skin Boost Serum

• I bought this one thinking its an intensive serum for radiance. However, the Vitamin C Skin Boost is  recommended by the Body Shop people as a face primer to be used before applying your moisturiser, sunscreen or as a make up base. Skin Boost serum is slightly tinted with light reflecting particles (which are omni-present in most radiance products). It smells very, very citrus and might be an issue if you can't bear such fragrances. The packaging is sleek and with a pump dispenser is travel friendly.

Con's of Vitamin C Skin Boost :

1. Expensive for the quantity given
2. Not for oily skin prone to acne
3. Smell may be too strong for the sensitive

• To Splurge or Not to Splurge :
• Vitamin C Skin Boost is an instant fix for dull, fatigued faces. Hence, I would recommend this for all girl's who live in the instant world. Keep this in your drawer at work and use just before that important presentation or lunch break date to look immediately radiant. If you are blessed with good to average skin, don't bother with this one.
